My top 4 Eyebrow Styles for life changing eyebrows!

So, you’ve decided to get your brows done and you’re excited to book your consultation and patch test… yay! But wait, there are so many different eyebrow styles and techniques! Hair strokes. Powder. Ombré. Combination. Fusion. Microblading. Machine. The list goes on… So which one is best for you?

It’s always a good idea to come to your consultation armed with your favourite eyebrow pencil or product and a handful of photos of eyebrow styles and shapes that you like. It’s also a good idea to spend some time pencilling in your eyebrows as you would any other day, to enable me to see what you’re used to looking at every day when you look in the mirror.

With so many eyebrow styles to choose from, it’s hard to know where to begin! The world’s obsession with eyebrows is alive and well. Eyebrows have been big beauty news for a while now but what treatments are available and which eyebrow styles are right for you?

I offer pretty much all techniques and styles and each of these can be adapted to your own personal style and colour. I try to keep things simple with my descriptions of eyebrow styles on the eyebrow treatments page to avoid confusion but frankly, with my level of expertise and experience, I can deliver pretty much whatever you want. Some times, your skin type will restrict which techniques you can have but don’t worry, we can discuss all of this in detail at your consultation so you can book your appointment knowing that you have had the best possible advice.

Eyebrow Style 1 : Microblading

Dubbed the ‘future for brows’ by Vogue magazine, Microblading is a brow boosting procedure that’s taking the beauty world by storm. So natural and intricate that it’s often described as ‘brow embroidery’, micro fine hairs are placed in between your natural brow hairs to give fuller, more beautiful brows. Ideal for clients that have some sparse brow hair and require gaps to be filled in.

Microblading  give the illusion of fuller looking brows by adding hair strokes in between the natural hairs. For an ultra natural, light look this can be done with a super fine micro blade or alternatively, for those who want brows that you’ll never need to add pencil on top of, machine hair strokes give a bolder look.

Please note that a minimum of two appointments are necessary to complete the treatment and a patch test is required.

Eyebrow Style 2 : Hair Stroke Eyebrows

For those who want beautifully defined natural looking eyebrows with a more precise and longer lasting result when compared to Microblading, Hair Stroke Eyebrows are the answer.  Eyebrows are enhanced using a digital permanent makeup machine, using an ultra fine needle giving eyebrows a full, yet soft and natural look. The ideal eyebrow style for those who have over plucked brows and need a new shape.

Hair Stroke Eyebrows are one of the most sought after techniques die to the structure it gives eyebrows.  The results tend to last longer than Microblading and is the ideal eyebrow style if you want something very natural but not “too natural”.

Please note that a minimum of two appointments are necessary to complete the treatment and a patch test is required.

Eyebrow Style 3 : Powder Eyebrows/Ombré Eyebrows

This technique mimics the effect you get when using a conventional brow pencil or powder. If you love the look of a powdered brow then this is the choice for you. A soft shaded effect is used to enhance the brow and add lots of definition and wow factor.

For an Ombré effect I can also make the shading lighter at the bulb and heavier along the bottom of the brow to give a beautiful soft look if required.

Powder Eyebrows are Permanent Makeup at it’s best. This is by far my favourite eyebrow style.  In my opinion, they age better than any other technique and can be applied in a number of different ways.

  • A strong base line and a soft powdered top line gives beautiful definition whilst still looking natural.
  • A clean outline, strong tail and soft bulb gives a beautiful and fashionable ombre effect.
  • A borderless finish gives a super soft and ultra natural look.

Please note that a minimum of two appointments are necessary to complete the treatment and a patch test is required.

Eyebrow Style 4 : Fusion Eyebrows/Combination Eyebrows

I use a fusion of techniques to create this eyebrow style.  Usually a combination of light shading and hair strokes to create a perfectly blended full brow for clients who suit a combination of techniques. This eyebrow style is ideal for clients with oilier skin types and perfect for Alopecia sufferers to create a full eyebrow with texture and definition.

Fusion Brows are great for those who have little to no natural brow hair so the perfect choice for Alopecia sufferers. A 3d design of hair strokes with light shading added where it’s needed to give the illusion of hair gathering and light and shade.

Please note that a minimum of two appointments are necessary to complete the treatment and a patch test is required.
