ADVANCED COLOUR THEORY
FOR MICROBLADING & PERMANENT MAKEUP ARTISTS
WHAT'S THE DEAL WITH COLOUR THEORY?
I have spent many years working with colour as an artist, hair stylist and permanent makeup artist. Colour Theory plays a part in all aspects of art and I have spent the best part of 25 years working with colour in one form or another.
I find that colour theory is one of the most difficult areas of training for students to wrap their heads around when learning the fundamentals of microblading and permanent makeup and I aim to simplify basic colour theory for those seeking to understand it better as well as expand on the basic knowledge learned during fundamental training.
Hands up if you came away from your basic training feeling overwhelmed and baffled by colour and pigment choice?
Guess what? It’s pretty normal to feel that way and it’s a good idea not to give up at the first hurdle, as this info is the basis for a great career in permanent makeup.
THE FULL SPECTRUM COURSE
Full Spectrum is an online advanced colour theory course, which not only covers what you learn in basic training in more detail and really cements what you already know, but also investigates in detail, how humans perceive colour, how light and matter interact, how this affects your colour choices, pigment science, the colour index, SDS sheets and much much more.
This course will transform how you look at colour and pigments with information that can be applied to ANY brand of pigment and is an essential tool to have in your microblading or permanent makeup tool kit.
Once you have completed the course your certificate will be sent to you via post.
Whether you’re a microblade or a machine artist, the knowledge learned through the Full Spectrum course can be applied to both the manual and machine methods.
This course requires that the student has completed fundamental training and has some practical experience in either the manual (microblading) or machine techniques of permanent makeup as a pre-requisite. Whether you are a seasoned professional looking to learn more about colour and pigment science or a new permanent makeup artist looking to increase your knowledge about colour and it’s application in micropigmentation, this course will be an invaluable investment.
I look forward to teaching you and wish you the best of luck with your training.
