LASER TATTOO REMOVAL KENT
Revolutionary laser technology has become the go-to solution for those who are unhappy with their tattoos. This cutting-edge approach involves using a laser to disintegrate the ink particles within in the skin, allowing the body’s natural immune system to absorb and eliminate them.
The laser used during the removal procedure specifically targets the pigments of the tattoo ink within the skin, effectively breaking them down into particles that are dsmall enoiugh to be absorbed and can be expelled by the body, naturally. The number of sessions required for the procedure largely depends on the size and depth of the tattoo.
Laser tattoo removal has a number of pros and cons. It is undoubtedly, one of its most prominent merits is its remarkable efficacy in eliminating tattoo ink from the skin. When conducted by a skilled professional, laser removal is generally deemed the safest and most efficient method of removal. Also, compared to alternative methods, it offers a less invasive approach, resulting in minimal damage to the skin and shorter recovery periods.
How does laser tattoo removal work?
Laser is a relatively quick, effective and popular removal technique for tattoos and is often chosen for it’s precision and speed.
Simply put, laser removal works by emitting a pulse of intense light that is absorbed by the pigment/ink, breaking it into smaller pieces that can be removed by the body’s natural immune system.
The laser light is absorbed by the ink/pigment, causing it to break down into smaller piece]. The laser targets the ink particles, which absorb the heat from the laser and shatter into tiny pieces. These smaller ink particles are then absorbed by the body’s immune system and eliminated from the body over time thorught the lymphatic system.
Different lasers work at different wavelengths, which target different colours at different depths in the skin.
Laser removal is a versatile procedure suitable for various skin types and tattoos. During this process, the practitioner guides a laser device over the tattooed area, emitting bursts of light energy that deeply penetrate the skin and selectively target the tattoo ink, which absorbs the energy. The procedure itself is swift and highly efficient.
Following laser removal, the healing period typically spans approximately 7 to 10 days, allowing the skin to recover and heal.
The number of sessions required for optimal results depends on several factors, including the tattoo’s saturation (the amount of ink present in the skin), the type of ink used, and the depth at which the ink was originally placed. It is crucial to observe a minimum interval of 8 weeks between sessions to allow the skin ample time to heal and respond effectively to subsequent treatments.
Laser tattoo removal stands as a highly effective method for eliminating undesired tattoos, offering individuals an opportunity to bid farewell to their unwanted ink.
LiFT (salt saline) TATTOO REMOVAL
Saline tattoo removal involves the application of a salt and saline solution directly into the targeted area using a tattoo needle, resulting in a sensation similar to that of receiving a tattoo.
When compared to alternative non-laser methods like surgical or acid removal, saline removal is regarded as a much gentler and less aggressive option, prioritising the well-being of the client.
One notable advantage of saline removal is its ability to address tattoos of any colour. It is a versatile technique suitable for application on the face and body.
To ensure optimal results, it is advisable to wait 6-8 weeks after receiving a tattoo before undergoing saline removal. However, in urgent cases, an emergency procedure can be performed within 48 hours of the initial tattoo application.
During the removal process, scabbing will occur, and the subsequent healing period typically lasts between 7 to 14 days, depending on individual factors.
It is important to note that a maximum area of 6″ x 6″ can be treated within a single session of saline tattoo removal.
How does salt SALINE tattoo removal work?
Salt saline removal is perfect for those with smaller tattoos, partial reomval or those looking for a non-laser method of tattoo removal.
Salt saline removal is a widely used method to remove permanent makeup or microblading. This procedure is essentially the reverse to the implantation process, and works by pulling the ink out of the skin.
The process involves tattooing a saline solution (a mixture of salt and purified water) into the skin to break up the tattoo pigment and draw it out of the skin using a prpcess called Osmosis.
Throughout the healing process, the skin forms scabs and gradually regenerates, leading to a lightening of the tattoo as the colours fade. The number of sessions needed for salt saline removal varies, typically ranging from two to six sessions, contingent upon factors such as the depth, size, and colouration of the tattoo.
For salt saline removal, the healing period typically spans around 7 to 14 days. During this time, it is crucial to diligently clean and care for the treated skin, following the recommended aftercare instructions.
